This broad capability enables us to offer our customers the full range from Design, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning to Maintenance Management.

Rockson Engineering is now recruiting for Electrical Design Engineers.

Responsibilities

Design power distribution for process facilities (which include designing of the single line diagram and dimensioning all the components like bus bars, switchgears, power transformers, metering and protection system, UPS system, battery system, earthing system and cables)
Coordination and selectivity of devices
Designing HV switchyards and transmission lines.
Produce electrical drawings with AutoCAD
Qualifications

Must be excellent in the use of 2D AutoCAD software.
B.Eng or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years working experience, some of which should preferably have been in an independent generation and transmission, or oil service company
A relevant professional Engineering qualification will be an added advantage
Must be less than 35 years old at the time of submitting application.
